Queen Camilla sends strong message to Meghan Markle from Palace

Queen Camilla has seemingly left Meghan Markle in tension with her latest move as she host a star-studded event at Buckingham Palace.

The 77-year-old Queen  brushed shoulders with a host of famous female faces as she celebrated women “who refuse to take no for an answer” at a Buckingham Palace reception on Tuesday.

Actresses Sarah Lancashire and Ruth Jones, make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury, barrister Cherie Blair, and designer Victoria Beckham were just some of the stars invited to the event.

David Beckham's wife Victoria curtseyed to the Queen during the event at Buckingham Palace, marking the 15th anniversary of Women of the World (WOW), an organisation that promotes gender equality worldwide.

The former Spice girl and current fashion designer's gathering with the royals comes amid their ongoing feud with the Sussexes.

Camilla said: “Nice to see you again. Did you enjoy the Italian dinner. It was good fun wasn’t it?”

The celebrity couple were previously invited by the King and Queen to celebrate Italian culture in the week that their State Visit to Italy and the Holy See this spring was announced.

The Beckham's family feud with Meghan and Harry reportedly dates back to 2018 after the Duchess accused Victoria of leaking private information about the couple.

Victoria, who wore a grey sleeveless dress and heels, dropped into an elegant curtsey as the Queen greeted her.

The royal gesture mirrored the actions of Kate Middleton during Monday's Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, where the Princess of Wales demonstrated her royal expertise by delivering a flawless deep curtsy to King Charles upon arrival.
