Bruno Mars achieves major milestone in music history
Bruno Mars continues break global music record
Bruno Mars, American singer and songwriter, adds another feather to his cap as he continues to break music records.
The Talking to The Moon hitmaker, who has not put out a solo album since 2016, 24K Magic, made history by passing 150 million monthly listeners threshold on music streaming app, Spotify.
His mid-tempo duet with Lady Gaga, Die With a Smile, has hit nearly 1.7 billion streams since its release in August 2024, becoming his ninth number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
Mars continued his hot streak by collaborating with Rosé on ATP. in October, which is already rising past a billion streams and peaking at number five on the Hot 100.
His monthly stream milestone recently coincided with the release of Fat Juicy & Wet, his R-rated track with Sexyy Red.
The 39-year-old singer is also nominated for Song of the Year and best pop duo/group performance alongside Gaga.
Elsewhere, Mars and Rosé just earned the title of best-selling song in the United States last week and hitting 12 non-consecutive weeks at Number one music chart, making it the first K-pop song to do so.
