Blake Lively files new formal lawsuit against Justin Baldoni in New York court
Blake Lively advances in feud with Justin Baldoni by filing new formal lawsuit
Blake Lively seems to be keeping her feud with It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni till the end.
The actress took further legal action against Baldoni and filed a new lawsuit in New York federal court, alleging mental anguish, severe emotional distress, and lost wages, according to TMZ.
The claims echo a complaint Lively submitted last week to the California Civil Rights Department, accusing Baldoni, 40, of sexual harassment during the filming of their August movie.
Lively alleges that after addressing Baldoni’s alleged behavior in a meeting, he employed a crisis management team to tarnish her reputation.
The lawsuit also names Melissa Nathan, Jennifer Abel, and Wayfarer Studios—the production company behind It Ends With Us—as co-defendants.
The news of the formal lawsuit comes just after the Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ old friend Paul Hollywood came forward with praise for the couple.
“I’ve got a lot of time for Blake. She texts occasionally, sort of to catch up on what she’s been up to, what Ryan’s up to,” The Great British Baking Show host shared with The Times in an interview on Monday, December 30.
"It’s lovely, because regardless of their job, they’re just a normal family, mom and dad to some great kids,” he added, talking about their four children; James, Inez, Betty, and son Olin.
"They’re really nice people. I like that communication. I don’t have many friends who are celebrities, it’s not me. I don’t go to a lot of red-carpet stuff. I don’t go to the parties up in London. I don’t like London.”
