Taylor Swift will “remember” her two-year-long Eras Tour for the rest of her life.
The Lavender Haze singer celebrated the success of her 149-show, five-continent, two-year-long world tour that shattered ticket sales records, three days after the final show with a short and emotional goodbye message.
The 34-year-old took to Instagram to post a carousel of pictures that captured the on and offstage moments from throughout the Eras Tour, including shots that featured the popstar with her team as well as alone on stage.
She put the lyrics of her song All Too Well to use in the caption to reflect on the experience, writing, “It was rare. I was there. I remember it.”
The 14-time Grammy winner’s celebration of the tour wasn’t limited to a social media post.
According to E! News, Swift gave out a total of $197 million in bonuses to her complete team, including the dancers, truck drivers, caterers, merch teams, band members, security, video teams, choreographers and many more.
The bonus amount accounts for nearly ten percent of the total ticket sales, which, according to the star’s event production company, Taylor Swift Touring, was $2 billion excluding merch or ticket resales.
