Joey Lawrence rekindles romance with Samantha Cope after five-month split

Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope found their way back to each other after five months of divorce filing.

On Wednesday, December 4, the Socked in the Christmas star hard launched his reconciliation with his estranged wife on Instagram with two photos of the couple brimming with love.

"I am beyond grateful [white heart emoji] I am beyond blessed [white heart emoji] I am galaxies beyond thankful [white heart emoji] My heart is so full [red heart emoji]," the 48-year-old actor penned in the captain.

In the first photo, the couple posed before a backdrop at an event for their new romantic comedy, Marry Christmas, filmed two years ago.

While Lawrence wrapped his hand around Cope's waist, her hand rested on his chest.

The following snapshot featured a photo of the two kissing with "My forever after" written over the picture.

As the couple put their differences aside and reconciled, Cope, 37, gushed over to her husband in the comment sections, dropping a comment which read, "love you", accompanied by a red heart emoji.

The reunion comes after Cope filed for divorce from Lawrence in August after two years of marriage.

According to the court documents obtained by PEOPLE, she cited irreconcilable differences, listing the date of separation as June 7, 2024.
