‘Suits: LA’ gets major cast update
‘Suit: LA’ is set to premiere on NBC on February 23
Suits Los Angeles set spinoff has got some serious suiting in terms of cast.
Fans rejoice as the news broke of Gabriel Macht to retain his role as suave and successful lawyer Harvey Specter.
Macht shared the news on his Instagram via video, seemingly confirming that he would be returning in the upcoming series starring Stephen Amell.
“When an old friend is in need…it’s time to take care of things and make those very ‘things’ right,” he wrote in the caption of a video set to the Suits theme song, “Greenback Boogie.”
The brief clip shows him doning a white button-down shirt with the initials “H.S.” engraved on the sleeve and brown formal shoes with the name “Harvey” inside.
The series will also see Amell portray Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who now leads his own firm on the West Coast.
“His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career,” the logline reads.
“Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.”
Suits, a longtime favorite on USA Network (2011-2019), found renewed fame on Netflix in 2023. It made history as the most-streamed show ever recorded by Nielsen, achieving this feat within a single year.
The show will premiere on NBC on February 23.
