‘One Tree Hill’ actor Paul Teal passes away at 35
Paul Teal was battling with cancer and died on Friday
Paul Teal, who portrayed Josh Avery on seventh season of One Tree Hill, died on Friday at the age of 35.
Teal was battling cancer as per his reps. “His exceptional talent and kind spirit touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him,” the STW Talent Agency announced. “The void he leaves behind will be deeply felt.”
“Paul, you were my soulmate, my soon-to-be-husband, my rock, and my future,” his fiancée, Emilia Torello, wrote on Instagram.
“You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach with butterflies, and my heart with love. You were taken too soon, in a battle that you fought bravely without fail.”
She continued, “While a part of me died with you, I promise to fight to find joy in life as hard as you fought to live every single day.”
The actor was born in 1989in North Carolina and started working for the Opera House Theatre Co., the Thalian Association Community Theatre and the Techmoja Dance and Theater Company, the Wilmington Star-News noted. (One Tree Hill filmed in the Wilmington area.)
Teal also starred in Adrian-Lynn’s Deep Water, 2022, alongside Ben Affleck, Ana de Armas.
Other notable contributions included Good Behavior, Dynasty, The Walking Dead, Outer Banks, The Staircase and George & Tammy.
