Prince William makes heartbreaking confession about King Charles, Princess Kate's cancer battles
Prince William opened up about King Charles and Princess Kate’s challenging cancer journeys in an emotional interview as he wrapped up his Cape Town tour.
According to People magazine, the Prince of Wales admitted that the year 2024 was the "hardest" year of his life as his father and wife were diagnosed with cancer.
William said, "It's been dreadful. It's probably been the hardest year in my life."
The future King opened up about his role as the Prince of Wales and simultaneously representing the Firm amid the royal health woes.
"So, trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult," he added.
Speaking of his father and wife's determination in fighting their serious illness, William said, "But I'm so proud of my wife, I'm proud of my father, for handling the things that they have done. But from a personal family point of view, it's been, yeah, it's been brutal."
Moreover, the Prince delighted the royal fans by sharing that Catherine, who recently completed her chemotherapy, has been "doing well."
For the unversed, King Charles and Kate Middleton announced their cancer diagnosis in February and March 2024 respectively.
The monarch is currently undergoing cancer treatment, however, the Princess of Wales has completed her treatment and now she is focusing on remaining cancer-free.
