Céline Dion shares why she wants to return to Las Vegas
Céline Dion has recently expressed her wish to return to Las Vegas residency amid stiff-person syndrome.
A source spilled to In Touch Weekly, Dion “has her eye on a brand-new Las Vegas residency”.
The source told the outlet that Celine is being appreciated for her performance at the opening ceremony for the Paris Summer Olympics and promotional video for the National Football League.
However, Celine wanted to perform onstage again as soon as possible.
The source noted that the My Heart Goes On hit-maker would never be “satisfied” until “she’s back in Las Vegas”.
For the unversed, Dion had played over 400 shows at Caesars Palace in Vegas from 2011 to 2019.
The source stated, “Nowadays, it seems like everybody from U2 to Elton John is doing Vegas residencies. But Céline is the O.G. — she paved the way.”
“And she says she wants to return to show them how it’s done!” added an insider.
Another source revealed Dion “is excited for the future as her management team works toward locking down a Sin City stint for 2025”.
The source mentioned, “There were dark days when she thought concerts would be impossible.”
“But with medications and physical therapy, she’s at a place where she believes she can pull it off!” said an insider.
