Sofia Vergara shares her thoughts on not winning 2024 Emmy Awards

Sofia Vergara has recently shared her thoughts on not winning 2024 Emmy Awards.

The actress, who was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in Netflix’s crime drama Griselda, lost her award to True Detective: Night Country star Jodie Foster.

In a short clip posted on Instagram on September 15, the Modern Family star jokingly said to her friend about not winning for the fifth time.

She could be heard saying, “Me lo robaron … por quinta vez,” which translates to, “They stole it from me … for the fifth time.”

Sofia dismissed her Emmys loss with a consolation prize, a burger.

“I didn’t get an Emmy but I got a hamburger,” she captioned a candid video of her biting into a burger at Netflix’s Emmys afterparty.

Sofia’s former Modern Family co-star Julie Bowen opened up about the risqué gift he once gave her.

“We are absolutely, completely different,” she told E! News in an interview published on September 13.

Julie mentioned, “I like to wear the baggiest, grossest underwear and show them to her, and she’s like, ‘Please, why are you wearing that?’”

The Fallout actress added, “She used to leave little thong underwear for me in my trailer, and I was like, ‘What is this? What is this tiny scrap of fabric?’ Because she wants me to be more of a woman.”
