The Split actor, as ex-wife reveals, is facing decline in cognitive abilities due to his condition.
The actress continued, “And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness. When I'm in L.A., I go over every week, and I really treasure the time that we all share.”
Willis and Moore were married for 13 years before getting a divorce in 2000, but the former couple have remained amicable co-parents since.
The two share three daughters, 36-year-old Rumer Willis, 33-year-old Scout Willis, and 30-year-old Tallulah Willis.
The family has been coping with this new way of life since the Pulp Fiction star, was diagnosed with the illness two years ago.
The ex-couple's daughter, Tallulah, recently shared that she has found “really special” to “spread awareness” about the degenerative condition at this time.
She added, “What's going on with my dad is that he has a really aggressive cognitive disease, a form of dementia that is very rare.”
“If we can take something that we're struggling with as a family and individually to help other people, to turn it around, to make something really beautiful out of it, then that's really special for us,” the actors’ daughter shared.
