David Beckham’s gym attire gets fashion frown from Victoria: ‘Too bright!’
David Beckham’s orange vest didn’t exactly earn fashionista wife Victoria’s seal of approval
David Beckham may be a style icon in many circles, but even he can't escape the fashion critiques of his wife, Victoria Beckham.
On Saturday, August 24, the former footballer shared a shirtless workout snap on Instagram, after facing some playful banter from his renowned fashion designer spouse.
"My wife said my Orange vest was too bright so I took it off [thinking and orange heart emoji]," he wrote in the caption, adding with a wink, "Judging my workout clothes @victoriabeckham you know u love it really [orange hearts emoji]."
David, 49, also had a note for his trainer, Bobby Rich, saying, "Sorry @mrbobbyrich not my best form this was the 6th set [rage emoji]."
In the photo, the retired athlete is seen lying on a bench, lifting weights in while his tattooed body was on full display.
His workout attire included light blue shorts and the criticised bright orange top tucked into his waistband, complemented by orange sneakers and black socks.
Married for over two decades, David and Victoria continue to keep their relationship alive with playful jabs on social media, proving that their love and humour have only grown stronger over their 25 years together and after four kids.
