Dennis Quaid discusses about late Parent Trap co-star Natasha Richardson at his new Reagan movie premiere
Dennis Quaid has recently addressed Parent Trap sequel at the premiere of his upcoming movie, Reagan in Los Angeles.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight at her new movie premiere on August 20, Dennis responded to a question about a potential follow-up to 1998 movie.
“That would be fantastic, but Natasha. How do we do it without Natasha? said Dennis while referring his Parent Trap co-star Natasha Richardson, who died in 2009 at 45 during a skiing accident.
The Hill actor revealed that Natasha’s “death still breaks my heart”.
In the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap, Quaid and Richardson played the parents of Lindsay Lohan's characters Hallie and Annie Parker.
Earlier on Tuesday, Dennis also opened up about watching Lindsay over the years.
The Blue Miracle star called Lindsay “fantastic,” adding, she’d “grown into a beautiful person”.
However, Dennis discussed about another movie, saying, “you never know if a sequel involving his character passing on a vineyard to his daughters would actually happen in Hollywood”.
Reflecting on 1998 movie, Dennis dished, “The Parent Trap was like, a whole new career for me. It's so in my heart. It's such a beautiful movie.”
“And I think people will be watching that 100 years from now, I really do,” he noted.
