Princess Beatrice and her husband Eduardo Mapelli, who are expected to attend the summer holidays at balmoral, will be missing a key member of their family.
King Charles’ niece, Beatrice, is stepmom to eight-year-old son Christopher 'Wolfie' Mapelli Mozzi, who is understood to miss out on the Scottish getaway.
The young lad is currently in America with his mother Dara Huang and her family for vacation and will likely miss the summer in Britain altogether.
“Dara has taken Wolfie with her to the United States for an extended summer holiday,” a source told Express.co.uk. “They will visit her family in Florida and make their way to the lakes in Wisconsin before returning to the UK later this month.”
The insider also stated that Beatrice and Eduardo would have “loved” to have taken Christopher with them on holiday. However, the couple understands that the boy also needs time with his mother.
“They are trying to see if he might be able to join them very late this month, but it looks as if he will spend his entire summer in America which is disappointing,” the source continued.
"That's what happens with blended families but they seem to navigate it very well. They all get on like a house on fire with a bit of push and pull over dates sometimes."
