'The Real Housewives of New York' alum Kelly Bensimon halts her June 29 planned wedding
Kelly Bensimon has halted her wedding plans just four days before the ceremony.
The Real Housewives of New York star called it quits with her fiancé Scott Litner, choosing to prioritize her kids, according to Page Six.
"I have decided that my two daughters are my priority and I won’t be moving forward with this wedding," Bensimon told the outlet on Tuesday, June 25.
Meanwhile, People reported that an insider close to Bensimon mentioned she’s taking time for herself to regroup during this difficult period.
The RHONY alum called off the wedding, which was scheduled for June 29, on Tuesday, June 25.
Litner proposed to the 56-year-old reality TV star during the July 4 weekend in 2023, while the couple was on a romantic getaway to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
The pair had planned to host two separate celebrations, starting with a smaller ceremony at Litner’s mother’s home in Boston.
Followed by a bigger celebration, to be held at a later date in the Hamptons, where all family and friends could gather.
Additionally, before her relationship with Litner, Bensimon was married to famous fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon from 1997 to 2006, with whom she shares two daughters, Sea and Teddy.
