Travis Kelce names THIS TTPD track as he lists top 3 Taylor Swift songs
Travis Kelce confessed he had been a fan of now-girlfriend Taylor Swift since her 2014 album called ‘1989’
Taylor Swift’s song about Travis Kelce from her album The Tortured Poets Department holds a special place in his heart.
Appearing on Monday’s episode of the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, the NFL superstar, 34, listed off his favourite tracks by the international pop sensation, also 34.
Dreamy, whimsical, and a public confession of her love for him, TTPD’s So High School easily made the cut for top 3 of Kelce’s favourite Taylor Swift songs.
A song about young, limitless love, So High School took the spot as No. 3 on Kelce’s list, as “it’s got a little bit of a sentimental meaning” for the couple.
For context, Swift released So High School just months into her relationship with Kelce and a little over a year after she embarked on her record-breaking Eras World Tour, which will conclude after a near two-year-run in December 2024.
Taking the No. 2 spot was Cruel Summer (from Lover), which he associated with the July 2023 Eras Tour concert in Missouri that he attended, during which he tried to make the moves on Swift. They started dating not long after.
“Cruel Summer is one of the ones she opens with at her show, and when she comes out, it’s electric. I was fired up when that happened the first show I was ever at,” he recalled.
At the No.1 spot was a certified Swift hit: Blank Space from 1989.
“I really started listening to Taylor’s music when she came out with 1989. I’m gonna say Blank Space because… it’s a banger,” Kelce said.
