Kate Middleton leads birthday tributes for Prince William as he turns 42

Kate Middleton shared a brand new photo of husband Prince William with their kids to mark his 42nd birthday.

The Princess of Wales took to the couple’s official social media accounts to post a picture of the prince with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 6, from a beach trip.

“Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much!” she wrote in the caption, signing it off with “Cx”.

It’s unclear whether the photo, featuring the quartet snapped jumping in the air, was taken by Kate.

A similiar photo from the trip was posted on Father’s Day last week, which was captured by the future Queen as mentioned in the caption. 

Meanwhile, William has been on a whistle-stop trip to Germany to cheer on England against Denmark in Euro 2024 match a day before the big day. 

However, it's unclear whether he has yet returned to England to mark the special day with a private celebration of the special day.
