Nina Dobrev steps out for first time after horror biking accident
Nina Dobrev revealed severe injuries she sustained from tragic dirt biking accident
Nina Dobrev got a reason to doll up for the first time since her dirt biking accident.
On Wednesday, June 12, the Vampire Diaries star graced the episode of The Talk, revealing that the CBS chat show appearance was her "first time actually leaving the house in over two months."
"I had knee surgery; I got a giant brace. I can't really walk on my own yet...I had a fractured knee as well as ACL repair and meniscus," she shed light on her injuries.
However, Dobrev was happy to step out of the house, having "an excuse to get dolled up."
Responding to how she sustained all the injuries mentioned above, the 35-year-old actress revealed, "[I] was dirt biking for the first time, and it did not go well."
"I don't recommend it, guys. It's okay, I learned a lesson, don't ever get on a dirt bike," she gave a disclaimer to all the biking enthusiasts.
"I was in a wheely, lost control, whisky throttled, bike flew," Dobrev continued, "Luckily, it didn't fall on me, which is what the doctor said would have been a lot worse."
"But when I landed, I landed on one leg, straight, and my knee just like snapped," she explained.
Additionally, Dobrev first announced in an Instagram post that she was recovering from a bike accident on Monday, May 20.
