Katy Perry oins set to perform at million-dollar pre-wedding bash in India

Katy Perry is gearing up for a jaw-dropping payday this Friday, as reports suggest she's secured a multimillion-pound deal to perform at the wedding celebration of Anant Ambani, son of India's wealthiest man. 

The Roar singer is reportedly headed to Cannes in the South of France to lend her vocals to a luxurious masquerade ball in honor of Anant and his bride, Radhika Merchant.

Anant is son of Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries and Asia's richest individual, boasting a net worth exceeding $114 billion according to Forbes. 

Katy's performance follows the prestigious footsteps of music icons Rihanna and Beyoncé, who commanded staggering fees for entertaining the billionaire family in the past.

In 2018, Mukesh reportedly paid Beyoncé a whopping $6 million for a private concert at his daughter's wedding, setting the bar high for celebrations. 

Now, as Katy Perry prepares to take the stage, anticipation is high for another extravagant affair befitting the opulence of the Ambani family.

According to reports from MailOnline, Rihanna recently pocketed an impressive £5 million ($6.33 million) for her show-stopping performance at a pre-wedding celebration for Anant and Radhika back in March. 

Now, as per The Sun, it's Perry's turn to take the stage for the happy couple, who are sparing no expense ahead of their upcoming July wedding.

An insider revealed to the publication, "They have invited 800 guests who are currently on a space-themed cruise around Europe, with stops in Barcelona and Genoa. It will arrive in Cannes on Friday for the big bash."
