Sophie Turner admits she’s learning how to date after Joe Jonas: ‘Very fun’

Sophie Turner is embracing her newfound single life and having a blast dating her new beau, Peregrine Pearson.

Recently, the 28-year-old actress opened up in an interview with Vogue for the first time since her divorce from Joe Jonas made headlines last year.

Reflecting on her four-year-long marriage, the Game of Thrones alum admitted that being married at such a young age left her inexperienced in the dating world.

Turner, who tied the knot with Jonas at 24 and divorced him in 2023 after facing significant challenges, admitted that dating now feels "strange" but exciting.

"I am having fun dating. It's very fun," she shared. "It's like you never really learn how to date when you get married so young, so it's all very new to me."

Turner and Jonas share two daughters, Willa and Delphine, and are co-parenting despite their split.

The mom-of-two acknowledged the challenges but praised Jonas as a "great father," emphasising that their children's well-being comes first.

"The children are the real victims here," she noted, expressing her hopes for a healthy co-parenting dynamic.

Since their high-profile divorce, Turner has started dating Pearson – an aristocrat and the official heir to the 4th Viscount Cowdray.

One thing that she has since learned is the importance of communication in relationships, noting, "I never want to be left in the dark in a relationship.”

To foster this, the new couple has established "Safe Space Saturdays," a dedicated time to discuss any concerns and work through them together.
