Taylor Swift's throwback Easter clip leaves fans buzzing with speculation
Taylor Nation took to Instagram to share Taylor Swift's first Easter, marking her earliest days of dropping hints
Taylor Swift’s management team recently took to Instagram to drop an adorable clip of baby Taylor from her first Easter in 1990.
On Sunday, March 31, Taylor Nation shared a clip of the singer in a full bunny suit from the Antihero hitmaker’s first Easter, alongside a caption that read: "Dropping easter eggs since 1989. What’s your favorite that you’ve found through the eras?"
For some Easter eggs would have been attributed to just the holiday, however, Swifties recognise the term as her signature style of leaving hints about upcoming projects or even offering insights into intense meanings in her work.
Swifties are aware that the Love Story alum’s 'Easter egg' tradition dates back to her early career, sending cryptic messages "tucked into album linear notes."
Taylor, who recently teased the release of her upcoming album, The Tortured Poet’s Department, left a trail of clues for fans to identify through her music and videos.
Her fans were quick to connect the dots to other hints in her Bejeweled music video as well as a photo with collaborator Jack Antoff, dated October 2023.
For the unversed, Swift is gearing up for the release of her highly-anticipated 11th album, The Tortured Poet’s Department that is slated to drop on April 19, 2024.
