Alison Hammond recently raised eyebrows after viewers became convinced that she gave an offensive order to a contestant.
On the Channel 4 special on Easter Sunday, March 31, all contestants, including David Doherty, Suzi Ruffell, Gabby Logan, and Oti Mabuse tested their baking skills.
However, there was one moment that caught everyone’s attention: "Did Alison tell a contestant to get her ‘s**t together?"
This sparked fury among fans as they rushed to social media to express disappointment over the TV personality’s distasteful act.
This came after Gabby panicked following a minor mishap and Alison quickly made it in time, assuring the contestant that it would still taste good.
Alison then said something like "get that sheet together," or potentially "ganache it together."
However, to fans’ surprise, the actress meant to say something that was totally out of context, assuming the other way round.
A user took to X, formerly known as Twitter to identify the change in Alison’s attitude, noting: ‘Did @AlisonHammond just tell #Gabby to get that sh*t together???’ along with a laughing emoji.
Meanwhile, Daran Phillipson acknowledged the same, asking, “Did Alison just [say] get your s**t together and you will be ok?" to which Nicola reacted, adding: ‘I thought so too, I had to rewind the check!”
Putting all the rumors to rest, Nordic Laura, who previously noticed the same as Daran and Nicola, later revealed that she now thinks Alison said "get your ganache and stick it together," which automatically goes with the context.
With Channel 4 subtitles, it’s confirmed that this is indeed what she said and not the sweary alternative.
