Donald Trump supports Kate Middleton amid photoshop scandal
Donald Trump supported the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton and downplayed the Photoshop incident surrounding her
Former president Donald Trump comes to the rescue of Kate Middleton, who is beset with the Photoshop controversy, saying everyone alters images these days.
During an interview with Nigel Farage on GB News, the former president supported the Princess of Wales and downplayed the Photoshop incident surrounding her. The 77-year-old former president said that the Duchess of Cambridge is facing challenges during her recovery from surgery and absence from royal duties.
Trump said that Kate would make a comeback. Downplaying the significance of the Photoshop controversy, Trump remarked that photo editing is common practice, stating, "Everyone doctors photos."
"That shouldn’t be a big deal because everybody doctors," he told Farage. "You look at these movie actors and you see a movie actor and you meet him, and you say is that the same person in the picture?
"I looked at that actually and it was a very minor doctoring. I don’t understand why there could be such a howl over that.
"She'll be back, I mean, it's a rough patch."
Speculation surrounding Kate's whereabouts intensified after she shared an edited photo with her children on Mother's Day in the UK.
A report regarding a security breach broke out at the hospital where Kate Middleton had surgery in January. The London Clinic launched an inquiry after it was alleged that one of its staff members tried to access her private medical records.
On Saturday, the Princess of Wales appeared in good spirits during a recent visit to a farm shop along with Prince William.
