Emily Blunt couldn’t seem to stay quiet over being blamed for shouting at Rebecca Ferguson.
The Oppenheimer actress has denied allegations of being Ferguson’s former co-star who “screamed” at her.
Ferguson, 40, crossed out the names of Hugh Jackman and Tom Cruise, who she starred alongside in The Greatest Showman and Mission Impossible, from the list of suspected co-stars, while appearing on Tuesday's episode of the Reign with Josh Smith podcast.
With the names of two major co-stars out of view, speculations of suspecting Blunt of the rude act started circulating on social media after the interview, but a rep for the Jungle Cruise actress came forward to clarify the issue.
“Rebecca and Emily are friends and there’s nothing but love between them,” the actress’s rep told Daily Mail.
Blunt’s rep's response comes after Ferguson revealed during the interview that a former co-star shouted at her onset and made her leave the set while crying.
The Greatest Showman star talked about one “absolute idiot of a co-star” whom she will never work with again.
“I remember there was a moment and this human being was being so insecure and angry because this person couldn't get the scenes out,” she said. “And I think I was so vulnerable and uncomfortable that I got screamed at.”
“But because this person was number one on a call sheet, there was no safety net for me. So no one had my back. And I would cry walking off set,” she added.
Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt’s co-star in one of her films, showed support for Ferguson.
The Rock went to social media, and wrote, “Hate seeing this but love seeing her stand up to bulls**t. Rebecca was my guardian angel sent from heaven on our set. I love that woman. I’d like to find out who did this”
Nor Ferguson neither Blunt have come forward to further clarify the issue yet.
