Keke Palmer embraces 'real love' in new Instagram video
Keke Palmer sings her own rendition of the late Natalie Cole’s 1975 single 'Inseparable'
Keke Palmer is going on a nostalgic journey by recalling good old days.
The 30-year-old Nope actress posted a video of herself singing a song that she is really passionate about on social media on Tuesday.
“My mom sang this to my dad at their wedding! I wasn’t there, but all growing up as a party trick, he would put my mom on the spot to sing ‘their’ song,” she wrote in her Instagram caption.
The video showed the multitalented star doing her own rendition of the late Natalie Cole’s 1975 single Inseparable.
Palmer admitted, “It wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized she (her mom) didn’t write the song! That’s how well she would sing it!”
The actress said that although she doesn't have the same vocal range as her mother Sharon Palmer, she nevertheless felt driven to sing the song while spending time with her infant son at home.
“Randomly while playing with Leodis in the living room, I just started singing it to him. I guess that’s what real love makes you feel,” Keke wrote.
The Disney alum appeared in the film sporting a cosy black jumper and an oversized T-shirt with a variety of dinosaurs for the spontaneous performance.
