‘Physical: 100 Season 2 - Underground’ slated to drop in March 2024
First season of 'Physical: 100' topped Netflix global charts within a week, captivating audiences in 82 countries
Physical: 100 Season 2 Underground is gearing up to hit screens on March 19, 2024, following its globally lauded debut season.
The Korean reality fitness competition series will feature more demanding challenges, higher stakes, and an even more extended arena.
Like the previous season, a group of 100 contestants of all ages from fitness backgrounds will be competing to determine who has the "ideal physique."
Netflix Tudum confirmed that the show would take place at the heart of South Korea within the backdrop of a giant underground mine.
Additionally, the list of 100 competitors has yet to be unveiled.
Meanwhile, some renowned names competing in the show are Lee Won-hee, a gold medalist in judo; Kim Dong-hyun, the first Korean UFC fighter with the highest number of wins within Korea; and Anthony Jung, a gold medalist in wrestling.
It is said that other participants expected to join the popular adrenaline-pumping, action-entertainment series will include FBI diplomats, singers, police officers, actors and military personnels.
The first season of the hit competition made history by topping charts of Netflix’s non-English Global Top 10 TV Shows within a week after its premiere on January 24, 2023.
