Why is Joe Biden not fit to serve as US President?
Joe Biden may be too old for his job, as per new special counsel report
Joe Biden is unsuitable to serve as president if he is not fit to stand trial as per a revelation by the approximately 400-page special counsel Robert Hur report, which is packed with incriminating proof of Biden's negligence with crucial national-security secrets.
But he defends Biden by arguing that he is simply too old and forgetful to be held accountable for his deeds, according to the New York Post.
Take into consideration that Biden stored war secrets related to Afghanistan in his Delaware home. These included a handwritten, classified message he wrote to President Barack Obama in 2009, which he saved because he believed it would support his position against sending in additional soldiers.
The memo and its classified attachments were found “in a badly damaged box in the garage, near a collapsed dog crate, a dog bed, a Zappos box, an empty bucket, a broken lamp wrapped with duct tape, potting soil, and synthetic firewood.”
Hur suggests that this was so reckless that Biden’s lawyers might convince a jury it had to be accidental: “this is not where a person intentionally stores what he supposedly considers to be important classified documents, critical to his legacy. Rather, it looks more like a place a person stores classified documents he has forgotten about or is unaware of.”
Hur concluded that it would be difficult to convict Biden of a deliberate offence since the jury may think he was forgetting where he put things.
During a 2017 book interview with ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer, Biden revealed top-secret information and disclosed that he had recently discovered top-secret documents in a rental residence in Virginia. Hur discovered: “Mr Biden’s recorded conversations with Zwonitzer from 2017 are often painfully slow, with Mr Biden struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries.”
In Hur’s own 2023 interview, “Mr Biden’s memory was worse. He did not remember when he was vice president” and “did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died.” To a jury, Biden might seem “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
