Han Feizi: Singapore deports Chinese woman who was there 'for fun'
Han Feizi received a sentence of five weeks and five days in prison along with a S$600 (US$438) fine
Han Feizi, a woman who became infamous in Singapore by sharing footage of herself fighting with police on TikTok while in the hospital has been deported and is not allowed to return.
On Wednesday, Nov 8, CNA was informed by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) that Han Feizi, a 29-year-old Chinese national, had been deported to China that very day.
On October 25, Han received a sentence of five weeks and five days in prison along with a S$600 (US$438) fine.
Both her remand time and the typical one-third remission for good conduct were probably influenced by her release.
After her application for a student permit was turned down, Han applied in August to work as a clerk for a firm named KDL Elements.
She was granted permission to enter Singapore in July and was given a work visa the following month, but she never started working at KDL Elements.
Rather, she stated in court documents that she intended to travel to Singapore "for fun."
While she was here, she worked as a freelance hostess.
Han got into a drunken fight with the security officer at her apartment during her short stay in Singapore.
She also got into a series of drunken disputes with the police and hospital officials at Singapore General Hospital when it was allegedly claimed that a Grab driver drove over her foot.
Following Han's conviction, the Ministry of Manpower informed CNA that it had cancelled her work permit.
Additionally, she will be prohibited from working in Singapore for life.
