Jensen Ackles wife Danneel once tried ‘setting up’ ‘One Tree Hill’ costar with him

Danneel Ackles may be married to her ‘greatest love’ Jensen Ackles, but she initially tried to set him up with her One Tree Hill costar Sophia Bush.

The Roommate actress, 44, appeared on Monday’s episode of Drama Queens podcast, which is hosted by Bush, 41, Hilarie Burton Morgan, 41, and Bethany Joy Lenz, 42.

When Danneel was asked who is ‘the greatest love of her life’ she responded with the Supernatural alum, 45, with whom she shares three kids: daughter Justice Jay and fraternal twins, Zeppelin Bram and Arrow Rhodes.

On that note, Hilarie recalled, “You two were so f–king cute in the beginning. I’m glad we got a front row seat to that.”

And then Danneel funnily remembered, “Actually, I was thinking about this the other day, Sophia, I tried to hook you up with Jensen.”

She continued, “I don’t know why you said no, but thank you for saying no. … Do you remember that? I was like, ‘You should go on a date with him. He’s really nice!’”

Bush then shared, “Yeah, and then I remember being staunchly in a, like, I’m-never-gonna-date-an-actor-again [phase] — LOL I learn lessons the hard way,” Bush said with a laugh.

“But I was like, ‘No! I’m gonna be more responsible with myself.’ And you know, he’s your perfect person so we did good.”
