This Morning's Craig Doyle on interacting with women: ‘absolutely no way’
The presenter admitted he struggled to even speak to women before he went to university
This Morning's Craig Doyle is sharing interesting details about his personality and it is worth knowing for sure.
He's become a firm fixture on daytime television since stepping in for Dermot O'Leary on This Morning.
The hunky Irish presenter, 52, admitted he struggled to even speak to women before he went to university and admitted that going into further education helped him 'get a girlfriend' because he learned how to converse with members of the opposite sex.
Speaking about the incoming cohort of university freshers this September, Craig recalled his own experience on Thursday's edition of This Morning.
He said: 'Well if it wasn't for university I know I certainly wouldn't have got a girlfriend.
'I mean, there's just absolutely no way. I couldn't even talk to girls until I went to university! Joking aside, it's a huge part of growing up.
'Living on campus, becoming independent, learning how to cook and clean for yourself.'
Thankfully for Craig, university taught him all he needed to know and he later settled down with Doon Doyle.
The pair tied the knot in 2002 and have four children together, Quinn, 22, Muireann, 18, Milo, 16, and Elsa, 13.
