Queen Camilla was disciplined as a child on a certain food habit which she had to follow
Queen Camilla shared the strange food rule that she had to follow when she was a child.
Speaking with You Magazine, the Queen told food critic Tom Parker Bowles, that as a child, she always had to wipe her plate clean before they were allowed to have their dessert, pudding.
She said: "We always had to finish what was on our plate before we ate pudding."
However, the royal, who does not have have a liking of some desserts, shared that she was especially not fond of one particular dish.
She said: "That wasn’t such a problem when it was rice pudding as I hated the stuff."
Queen Camilla then went on to share about her childhood relationship and memories attached to food.
She revealed: "I grew up in a very happy home, with good food at its heart.
"I still just about remember rationing, but we grew everything from tomatoes and melons to peas, beans, carrots and new potatoes.
"One of my earliest memories is pudding those peas and beans with my mother, an accomplished cook."
