Class 6 girl found hanged

A class 6 girl was found hanged in her bedroom in Liaqatabad on Saturday.

She was identified as Iram, daughter of Rang Ali of Dhalla Market, Liaqatabad. Circumstantial evidences implied that the girl had committed suicide over an unknown issue. However, police shifted the body to morgue for autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.

dies: A 24-year-old girl expired in a local hospital on Saturday, a few days after she received burns in a cylinder blast in her Baghbanpura house.

She was identified as Dania. She was laid to rest in a local graveyard.

Newborn body found: A newborn was found dead in Garden Town on Sunday.

Police claimed that an unidentified woman had thrown her baby in a deserted area in the limits of Garden Town police station to conceal her sin. The body was shifted to morgue.

Man dies: A 55-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances in Data Darbar police limitson Saturday.

Police said that the victim, Safdar, had come to pay homage to Data Sahib. Suddenly, he fell down and became unconscious. he was shifted to a nearby hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead.

Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy, collected forensic evidencefrom the scene and registered statements of the eye-witnesses.

fire: Valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were burnt in a fire in a godown in Shafiqabad police limits on Saturday.

Rescue officials said a fire broke out due to shortcircuit in a plasticgrain godown near Gao Shala in Shafiqabad. Locals tried to control the fire but in no time it engulfed the whole godown. Rescue officialsreached the place on information and controlled it. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.

Meanwhile, record and valuables were burnt in a fire in the record-room of the nursing hostel of Sir Ganga Raam Hospitalon Saturday.

Rescue officials said a fire brokeout due to shortcircuit in the record room on third floor of the building. They reached the place on information and controlled the fire. No loss of life or injury was reported.
