LAHORE:Brooke Pakistan and the Pakistan Girl Guides Association (Punjab) on Monday held a meeting stressing the inclusion of animal welfare education in curriculum of schools and colleges.
On the occasion at a local hotel, Brooke Pakistan CEO Dr Javed Gondal, PGGA's Sarwat Hamid, MPAs Uzma Kardar, Ishrat Ashraf, and youth representative Salma Sajjad said
teaching kindness towards animals fosters empathy and civic values in students. Educationists, policymakers, youth leaders, and civil society members urged the government to integrate humane education into formal curricula and teacher training programmes.
