LAHORE : The CCPO on Saturday directed the officers concerned to provide barracks for Ababeel Squad personnel at Police Lines.
CCPO held a joint interactive session with community guides and personnel of Ababeel Force at District Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh. He directed for providing 20 motorbikes and 40 personnel to the Ababeel Squad to improve its performance. He said Ababeel Squad was creating a sense of security among citizens by improving visibility through working in groups of 20 motorbikes.
He said Community Guides (SIs and ASIs) are regularly assisting visitors. Community Police Guides ensure full support to citizens in writing applications, meetings with SHO, in charge investigation as well as prisoners in lock ups, registration of FIRs and data entry, guidance regarding police services and other related matters.
