LAHORE:Partly cloudy but humid weather was witnessed in the City here Friday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
The officials said that a shallow westerly wave was affecting upper parts while moist currents from Arabian Sea were also penetrating in central and upper parts of the
country. They predicted that dust/thunderstorm was expected at scattered places in
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Friday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Sibbi where mercury reached 47°C while in Lahore, it was 40°C and minimum was 28.6°C.
