LAHORE
An Additional District and Sessions Court on Monday acquitted an accused by giving him the benefit of the doubt of murder charges.
The judge acquitted accused Muhammad Siddique allegedly charged for killing one Hamayun over monetary issue.
The accused party submitted to the court that the accused had not killed Hamayun, adding that unidentified persons had killed him while the complainant submitted that the accused party narrated forged tale.
Complainant Shabbir Ahmed, brother of the deceased, got registered an FIR against the accused in Naulakha police station in 2013 under section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
