LAHORE
On directions of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Secretary Health has ordered posting of eight demonstrators for the newly built dead house at Lahore General Hospital on ad hoc basis to make the unit functional.
According to a press release issued here on Saturday, Principal PGMI Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood said that it would be the third dead house in Lahore where postmortem would be conducted.
For this purpose 40 employees have already been recruited for the Franzic Medicine Department.
After the posting of new doctors and affiliation of police stations with LGH, postmortem would start. Newly inducted demonstrators include Dr Haris Sidiqi, Dr Mehwish Jilani, Dr Awais Qureshi, Dr Nasir Abbas, Dr Rifat Hayat, Dr Senam Saeed, Dr. Zaigham Mahmood and Dr. Zobia Iqbal.
