A three-year-old boy was killed while his father received serious injuries when a speeding car ran over them in Samanabad area on Sunday.
It was reported that a man yet to be identified along with his three years old son was on his way on a bike when a rashly-driven car hit them in Samanabad area. As a result, both sustained serious injuries. Locals and passersby caught the car driver and handed over him to the police. The injured father and his son were rushed to a local hospital where the boy was pronounced dead. Police shifted the body to morgue.
Youth dies: A sixteen-year-old youth was killed and the other received injuries when a tractor-trolley hit them near Jallo Morr Batapur on Sunday.
The youth was identified as Asif and the injured as Yaseen, 20. Both Asif and Yaseen were on their way on a bike when a rashly-driven tractor-trolley ran over them. As a result, they sustained injuries. The driver escaped.
HENS BURNT ALIVE: Dozens of hens were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out in a pick-up van in Liaqatabad area. The cause of the fire was said to be a short circuit in van. Passersby and locals managed to extinguish the fire after hectic efforts.

The victim yet to be identified was passing through Liaqat Chowk when a rashly-driven rickshaw ran over him. As a result, he received fatal injuries. The injured bike rider was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police shifted the body to morgue and registered a case against the rickshaw driver.
ROBBERS ARRESTED: Factory Area police arrested four robbers and recovered valuables worth millions of rupees and weapons from their possession. The robbers were identified as Sajjad, Sunny Masih, Abbas Ali and Mushtaq.
