A Sense of Place, a two-day art exhibit, opens on November 7 in Model Town. Start time: 4pm.
The show promises to present “an inventive and thought-provoking approach to contemporary art,” exploring a variety of artistic styles and expressions including calligraphy, landscape, abstract and traditional.
Artists featured on the show are Maarsart, Khadija Khalid and Hussan-Ara Masood. Through “a bold collection of paintings and other works of art, these artists display the transformative power of art and creativity.”
Peerus’ Café Farmers Market, a two-day event, begins on November 7 at Racecourse Park. Time: 9am-9pm. The event is a collaboration between Peerus’ Café and Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA).
Shaukat Khanum Pink Polo shall be held on Sunday (today) at Jinnah Polo & Country Club, Defence, Phase 8. Timings: 1pm-5pm.
Hosted by Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre and Jinnah Polo & Country Club, the event aims to raise awareness about breast cancer. The event includes a polo match, a cavalcade, a game of tent pegging and a live musical performance. There will be a play area for kids and food stalls.
Social distancing measures will be implemented to ensure safety of the guests.
