'US responsible for bloodshed in Gulf': Central President Tehreek-e-Istaqlal Rehmat Khan Wardag has said the statement of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair that supporting the US attack on Iraq was a mistake proved that the US was responsible for all the bloodshed in the Arab country.
In a statement issued on Monday, Rehmat Khan Wardag said the Tony Blair had sought apology from the entire nation for supporting the US in the war against Iraq and it had become obvious that this aggressive mindset eventually led to the origin of Daish.
He also stated that the US was promoting terrorism at global level and restoration of peace in the Muslim world wasn’t possible unless the United Nations barred the United States from committing the heinous crime of targeting innocent people.
Rehmat Khan Wardag also said that in the region of South Asia, India was also following the similar pattern and sabotaging regional peace.
He said Pakistan was taking all the measures for restoring peace in the region, but Indian policies created hurdles in the way of any step meant for the prosperity of this part of the world. He also said that Pakistan couldn’t end its nuclear programme at any cost as it was vital to maintain an equalibrium between Pakistan and India.

Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq, sharing a deep grief over the heavy loss of life and property has prayed for those killed and the early recovery of the injured.
He directed the party heads of Chitral and Dir to suspend their routine activities and pay full attention to the help and rehabilitation of the quake affected people.
He also instructed the volunteers of the Al-Khidmat Foundation to arrange food, medicines and shelter for their brethren affected by the calamity.
Sirajul Haq also contacted KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on phone and expressed grief over the losses in the province.
Jamiat Ahle Hadith president Senator Sajid Mir said the nation must pray for collective forgiveness and divine blessings from the Almighty Allah. He expressed sympathies for the victims, prayed for the killed and early recovery of those wounded.
He appealed to the masses for all-out measures and concerted strategy for the relief and rehabilitation.
