In a statement, Chohan said that Shahbaz Sharif needed to come back to his motherland and stand by its people in their hour of need but he had failed miserably to do so. The minister said that if Shahbaz Sharif was indeed harboring pure intentions and wanted to help Pakistanis going through the coronavirus pandemic then he should think about giving few billion rupees from his trillions of ill-gotten money to the Prime Minister Coronavirus Fund.

Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that the desperation and frustration in the opposition was apparent due to the silent performer Usman Buzdar making waves and winning the hearts across the province. Chohan said that CM Buzdar did not believe in rhetoric and was meeting the challenges head on. He said that Usman Buzdar’s timely administrative decisions have helped in limiting the coronavirus spread.

The minister said that Usman Buzdar had proved that the government believes in work rather than talk. “The Buzdar government is taking active initiatives containing the spread of the global pandemic,” he added. He said the Punjab administration crackdown continued against hoarders and profiteers on the directives of the CM. The Punjab government has increased release of wheat to flour mills from 25,680 metric ton to 30,000 metric ton ensuring the provision of wheat in the province. He said that all provincial ministers and advisers were overseeing the wheat purchase campaign in different districts on the directives of the CM.
