The three-day training workshop “Indigenous On-Campus Training (IOT) Phase-2” concluded at the University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences (UVAS) here on Wednesday.UAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the concluding session and distributed certificates among the participants of the workshop held for 5th group of the administrative officers.
Earlier, Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha delivered a lecture on good governance in higher education institutions. He spoke about various aspects of good governance, formal and informal governance, its key elements and advantages.
He said good governance was vital for building communities, leadership and economies, consequently the overall socio-economic development. At the end, an open discussion was also held in which all the participants took part and forwarded various suggestions for the future development of UVAS.
