PAKISTAN Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Member Parliament from Khyber PK, Ayesha Golalai, demanded complaint cells at Regional Police Officer, Inspector General Police and Chief Minister Punjab offices to lodge complaints against police excesses.
Talking to media outside Mayo Hospital late Thursday after meeting an acid throwing victim, Farah, PTI MNA Ayesha Golalai said police unfortunately side with criminals and there must be complaints cells against police at higher offices of police officials and chief minister.
Farah was attacked with acid two months ago in the provincial capital and an FIR was lodged against the perpetrators in Gulshan Ravi police precincts.
