LAHORE:Tanzim Islami (TI) ameer Hafiz Akif Saeed said India’s recent legislation granting citizenship to all non-Muslims from Asian countries vindicated the veracity of the two-nation theory which was the basis of creating Pakistan.

The passing of the anti-Muslim and anti-Islam citizenship law proved beyond doubt that the RSS agenda of Hindutva has been enforced in India, the sole objective of which is to eliminate and evict Muslims from India, he said while addressing the media on Friday.

He said both Israel and India had been following a similar policy to exterminate Muslims and occupy their lands. He lamented the attitude of selfishness, egotism and apathy prevalent among Muslim rulers, noting that it was a matter of great agony that even in the hour of pitch darkness for the Muslim Ummah they were only concerned about their personal gains, power politics and continued rule by being captives of the West.

Expressing deep sorrow on a mob attack by lawyers on a Lahore hospital, he said the incident reflected a deep sense of frustration, rage and violence in our society which had been increasingly becoming frenzied by unlawful behavior, morally decadent and ethically bankrupt.

He said those who ought to provide direction of lawfulness to society themselves started breaking the law by attacking and rioting at a hospital disregarding the suffering it caused to the patients.
