Quaid’s vision highlighted

LAHORE:In connection with Quaid-e-Azam Day celebrations, Urdu Science Board (USB) arranged an event at its head office here on Thursday.

According to a press release, the speakers highlighted the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. USB Director General Dr Nasir Abbas Nayyar said it was imperative to apprise the younger generation of Quaid-e-Azam’s vision about Pakistan.

He said Quaid’s vision was to establish a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent where they could live according to their religion, civilisation and traditions and every citizen had equal rights.

Prof Dr Amjad Abbas Khan from Pakistan Study Centre, University of the Punjab, stressed the students to follow the messages and quotes of Quaid. He asked them to make efforts to transform the vision of Quaid into reality. Dr Sharif Naizami, ex-chief scientific officer, PCSIR and Urdu language activist, advised the students to learn and use Urdu language for communication. He said Urdu was declared the national language of Pakistan by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. A large number of students and teachers from various educational institutions attended the lecture.
