They were addressing ‘Imam Noorani’ seminar on the 16th death anniversary of Allama Shah Ahmad Noorani at the JUP secretariat at Jamia Muhammadia Rizvia, Gulberg on Wednesday, chaired by JUP secretary general Qari Zawwar Bahadur and addressed by other leaders.

They said Allama Shah Ahmad Noorani strived all his life for making Pakistan an Islamic welfare state by enforcing Nizam-e-Mustafa, and his endeavors for drafting ’73 constitution and for determining constitutional status of Qadiyanis as non-Muslims were his greatest achievements which would never be forgotten. They stressed that Muslim Ummah was in a precarious situation at present as Muslim blood was being shed with impunity, while men and children were being killed and women were being raped as the rulers of 57 Muslim states and the entire world were watching this horrible carnage with complete disinterest and apathy.

The speakers passed a resolution condemning the invasion of some miscreant lawyers at Punjab Institute of Cardiology where seven patients died as a result of their hooliganism.
