Meesha Shafi recorded her statement before the court claiming that Ali Zafar intentionally touched and physically harassed her. She said that for the first time Ali Zafar harassed her in the house of his father-in-law.

Moreover, she stated that she didn’t want to bring that matter on record but she had no other choice. The court after recording statement of Meesha adjourned the hearing by December 20. On the next hearing, counsel of Ali Zafar will cross examine testimony of Meesha Shafi.

Previously, Meesha’s manager had recorded his statement before the court saying that he didn’t see any act of sexual harassment by Ali Zafar as alleged by Shafi but after the jamming session Meesha told him that Ali made her uncomfortable.

Syed Farhan Ali, the manager of Meesha Shafi said that he was present at the jamming session but didn’t see any act of sexual harassment by Ali Zafar as alleged by Meesha. He said that he was not focusing his eyes on the plaintiff and defendant and went out of the room couple of times. He said that he cannot confirm that such act happened or not. However, after the jamming sessions Meesha told him that Ali Zafar made her uncomfortable and Ali is not a good person, Farhan added. The witness said that after the session Meesha told him that she will not work with Ali Zafar in future in any show or concert.

He said that in a music show, the panelists were Atif Aslam, Fawad Khan and Meesha Shafi. “Prior to the shooting of second season show, the management told us that Ali Zafar stood replaced for Atif Aslam. On the same night, Meesha informed me that she would not work with him,” Farhan added.
