LAHORE :A 22-year-old girl committed suicide by taking poisonous pills in the Sanda area on Sunday.
It was reported that the girl ‘H’ had swallowed poisonous pills over a domestic issue, as a result of which her condition went critical. She was taken to hospital where she expired. Police shifted the body to morgue.

Three injured: Three persons were injured after a speeding bus dashed into a rickshaw on Peco Road on Sunday. On being informed, the rescuers rushed to the scene and shifted the injured persons to hospital where condition of one of them was said to be critical. Man arrested on rape charges: Sundar police arrested a man on charges of raping a teenage girl. The accused was identified as Ramzan. The girl’s mother alleged that her brother-in-law Ramzan had raped her daughter.

210 accused arrested: Rajanpur police arrested 210 accused including 104 proclaimed offenders and recovered drugs and unlicensed weapons last month. According to the Rajanpur DPO, during the last month 319 FIRs were registered and 210 accused were arrested and items worth Rs1,825,400 were recovered. Snap checking and search operations were also being conducted across the district to uphold the rule of law and uproot criminal elements.
