A delegation of the World Bank headed by task team leader Ms Scherezad Latif held a meeting with Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) high-ups on Tuesday. On this occasion, WB Consultant Ms Varda Malik gave a presentation about “scoping study of public-private partnership in school education.” PEF Chairman Engr Qamar-ul-Islam Raja said PEF was the best example of public-private partnership in education sector as it had strengthened low-cost private schools through beneficial free education models. Special Secretary (Schools) Ahmad Ali Kamboh, Managing Director PEF Dr Aneela Salman, Deputy MD Salman Anwar Malik, Programme Directors and other officials also attended the meeting.
