LAHORE
Jawad Akram, Director General PDMA, Punjab, Wednesday said the flow of water can increase in hilly areas of DG Khan due to likely rains during next four days.
He said the district administration has been directed to monitor the situation round the clock and take measures for coping with any emergent situation. Giving details, Jawad said some villages of three tehsils of DG Khan can be affected due to floodwater and instructions have been issued to shift the people of the villages to safer places.
He said the PDMA has provided eatable and other essential items to the administration of flood-hit districts of the province.
